Plans for new plant in Kyrgyzstan

A new cement plant is to be constructed in Jalal-Abad, Kyrgyzstan. The facility is part of a wave of new investments in the country this year, which is expected to total US$2bn. The project itself represents an investment of US$140m by Chinese investors, according to Central Asia News. The plant is expected to complete the construction stage within two years, and have a capacity of 1.3Mta.
